Arrest of an American threatening to kill President Joe Biden, "I'll cut your heads off."



The US judiciary has indicted a citizen who made threats to the country's president, Joe Biden, according to a statement released by the Justice Department on Thursday, and David Kyle Reeves, 27, a resident of North Carolina, was detained on February 5 and appeared in court on Thursday.


"Between January 28 and February 1, 2021, Reeves phoned the White House several times and threatened President Biden and others," said a statement from the West North Carolina District Attorney's office. In one of the calls, he said, "I'll kill you all, at the White House, I will cut your heads off." According to "Russia Today."


According to the statement, a Secret Service officer called Reeves on February 1 to discuss the threat calls. Then Reeves called him several times during the same day and "continued to threaten the president, the Secret Service officer, and others," and, according to the authorities, Reeves called the Capitol Police and made threats "in a similar fashion."


After the trial session, the judge decided to keep Reeves in detention, while the Secret Service is investigating the case. It is reported that the accusation of threatening the US President is punishable by five years imprisonment and a fine of up to 250 thousand dollars.
