The Minister of Sports meets with members of the Youth Parliament who won the elections



Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, met with a number of members of the Youth Parliament from the governorates of "North Sinai, Alexandria, Assiut, and Damietta", within the fourth of the six meetings of members of the Youth Parliament in the governorates of the Republic during February and March 2021, which the ministry holds at the Civil Education Center on the island under the slogan " Be a leader ... Be influential, "with the winners of the Youth Parliament elections that the Ministry of Youth and Sports held electronically.


The meeting was attended by Dr. Youssef Wardani, Assistant Minister of Sports, Mohamed Hassan, Deputy Minister, Mamdouh Abdel Aziz, Head of the Central Administration for Minister Affairs, Dr. Iman Abdel Jaber, Head of the Central Administration for Youth Centers and Talha Qaria, Director General of Civil Education and Youth Leaderships, Dr. Mervat Sayed Ahmed, Director General of the General Administration of Leadership Youth, Randa Al-Bitar, Director General of the Parliament of the Vanguards and Youth at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

 

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi said, "The Youth Parliament is an extension of another type of parliament, which is the Parliament of the Vanguards. You have a great deal of awareness and education that supports your values ​​of loyalty and belonging, and we are working on developing the parliament on an ongoing basis. The political leadership focuses on the importance of restoring mutual trust between youth and the state." Our relationship with youth is an interactive relationship with training and rehabilitation. "

 

Sobhi indicated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been providing various programs related to education and instilling the principles of volunteering, training and focused political awareness since 2003, thanking those who put the first seeds for the Youth and Vanguard Parliaments.

 

The Minister of Youth and Sports revealed that preparations are underway to activate the second parliamentary chamber, the Senate, by involving members of the Youth Parliament who are over the age of 25, expressing his pride that there are young representatives in the current council, graduates of the Youth Parliament.
